It features 121 intricately crafted visual art pieces across mediums such as Chinese ink, oil, watercolor, acrylic, sketching, fineliner, digital illustration and photography. These local artists capture Macau’s cultural progress and nuances before and after its return to China, offering a broad view of the city’s transformation in this double celebration year.

Wilfred Wong, Executive Vice Chairman of Sands China Ltd, said that given the double celebrations this year, the exhibition seeks to guide visitors on a journey through Macau’s historic development, rich local customs and culture as seen through the eyes of the artists.

He noted that the nine local art masters have produced works across various media that capture Macau’s diverse and inclusive spirit, depicting the city’s transformation and golden era after its handover. Wong emphasized the historical, cultural and aesthetic value of the intricate Macau stamps designed by these artists, and expressed hope that the exhibition would strengthen Sands Gallery’s role as a premier platform for artistic exchange, inspiring local and international talent alike.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge at Sands Gallery on the 6th floor of The Grand Suites at Four Seasons, from 11am to 7pm daily, until 5 January 2025.
