• Sands China has been selected for the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for the fourth time.
• It is the world’s only integrated tourism and leisure enterprise ranked Top 1% in the Global and China editions, and named “Industry Mover” in the China edition.

Sands China Ltd has again been selected for the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, earning Top 1% rankings in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) of both the Global and China editions. In the China edition, the company was also named an “Industry Mover” for the second consecutive year, making it the only integrated tourism and leisure enterprise in the world to receive all three honors.

The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is widely regarded as one of the most representative publications for assessing corporate sustainability performance. Its rankings are compiled based on results from the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). In this year’s China edition, nearly 1,800 companies from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau were assessed, with 193 companies selected for inclusion. Sands China ranked among the Top 1% of CSA-scored companies in China for the fourth consecutive year and was one of only 36 companies nationwide to receive the distinction.

Sands China also was named China’s “Industry Mover” by showing a 6% increase in its score from the previous year, topping the 5% increase criteria and demonstrating outstanding performance in the industry.

For the Global edition, more than 9,200 companies worldwide were assessed this year, with 848 companies selected for inclusion. Sands China was one of 71 companies ranked in the Top 1% globally for CSA scores and has now achieved this distinction for three consecutive years.

To be included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, a company must rank within the top 15% of its industry and remain within 30% of the highest score in its sector.
