Galaxy Entertainment Group has been honored with the “Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” at the 10th Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Awards Ceremony, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday 14 May.
This is the fourth time GEG has been honored with the award, which recognized the company’s considerable contribution to the community. In particular, it highlights GEG’s comprehensive commitment in all areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Over the years, GEG has proactively supported and participated in many charitable activities and actively encourages its team members to volunteer to extend care and love to the community. GEG is also dedicated to the development of Macau’s sports, arts and culture and tourism sectors, local talent cultivation, valuing and promoting team members’ welfare and career development, supporting SMEs in Macau to thrive and enhancing environmental protection to support the country and Macau in achieving dual carbon goals, as well as advocating responsible gaming to facilitate the long-term and sustainable development of all sectors and communities in Macau.
The Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Awards are organized by the Mirror Post of Hong Kong, a monthly magazine that has been in circulation to audiences across Greater China for more than 38 years. The aim of the awards is to celebrate and increase awareness of Chinese enterprises that support CSR, with candidate companies undergoing a strict selection process to be nominated and then chosen for the awards.
Also obtaining the “Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Award” was GEG’s subsidiary K. Wah Construction Materials Limited. Both GEG and K. Wah Construction Materials Limited were honored with related corporate social responsibility awards in 2021.
