Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has sponsored the International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Summit and become the strategic partner of the New Fortune China Top 500 Billionaires. These positive measures demonstrate the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, and its contributions to the Macau SAR’s economic diversification, sustainable development and environmental protection.

The International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Summit was held on 11 May, and Galaxy Entertainment Group became the sponsor of this major international summit. During this event, over 200 guests from governments, international organizations, universities, research institutes and enterprises at home and abroad attended to discuss and promote research, formulation and certification of international standards for the hydrogen energy and fuel cell industry, and to improve the consistency of such standards. The convening of the summit has also effectively promoted the international mutual recognition, communication and integration of hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology and helped further promote the global development of the hydrogen energy industry.

In addition, supported by GEG as a strategic partner, the 2023 New Fortune China Top 500 Billionaires press conference was held at Banyan Tree Macau on May 16, with a theme of “Gathering the power of private enterprises and seeking high-quality development”.

At the event on that day, nearly 200 guests from more than 100 financial investment institutions, 30 listed companies and 20 well-known enterprises attended the meeting, witnessed the announcement of the list of the 500 richest people in China and participated in a series of capital market related sharing sessions and seminars. In 2023, the total wealth of the “New Fortune China Top 500 Billionaires” reached 13.5 trillion yuan, with an average wealth of 26.9 billion yuan for the 500 entrants on the list.
