Orbis Macau organized the annual Love Your Eyes campaign

To celebrate the “World Sight Day”, Orbis Macau, a strategic partner of Macau CSR, held the 2023 Love Your Eyes campaign last Thursday (12 October). Featuring the theme of “Let the World be Seen”, the annual event aims to raise Macau residents’ attention to eye health.

The launch ceremony of this year’s Love Your Eyes campaign was held at the Sheng Kung Hui Taipa Youth and Family Integrated Service Centre. On the day of the event, the organizer set up an information booth and invited representatives from Oculista Oriente (Iok Fok Optical) to provide free optometric services for the public on the spot, at the same time offering STEAMLab blindfold experience and other activities.

In addition, 2023 Love Your Eyes will carry out a series of promotional activities including fund raising events for Orbis’ blindness saving and prevention projects. Starting from last Thursday to 30 November, the public can participate the “Eye Health Test” to test the health and condition of the eyes for free by visiting this link or by scanning the QR code below.

Ms Isabel da Silva, Director of Development of Orbis Macau, pointed out, “Through this annual campaign, we expect to raise the public’s awareness of eye care. On the other hand, it’s hoped that everyone can be a part of saving blindness, and allow more eye disease patients in low- and middle-income countries around the world to receive quality eye care services continuously.”
