In late February, Air Macau announced a new collaboration through which two high-end restaurants at MGM will introduce fresh in-flight dining options for business class passengers, starting from 1 March.

Passengers will enjoy finely crafted cuisine from Black Pearl One-Diamond Restaurant, Imperial Court, and Aux Beaux Arts, renowned for its classic French bistro fare.

The new dining initiative will span key Air Macau routes, including over 10 major destinations such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul.

Air Macau emphasized its commitment as a local airline to enhancing the passenger experience by delivering comfort and convenience, noting that the collaboration with MGM reflects a shared dedication among local businesses to promote Macau’s culinary heritage.

Over the past year, MGM’s expert culinary team has worked closely with Air Macau’s team on menu design, recipe development, culinary exchanges and staff training. Under MGM’s technical guidance, they have crafted a refined menu featuring a diverse selection of Chinese and Western main courses and desserts, available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea.

Hubert Wang, President and COO of MGM China, stated that the partnership acts as a vital link between Macau and international visitors. He explained that through Air Macau’s extensive route network, the collaboration enables the showcasing of Macau’s rich gastronomic culture, offering travelers the chance to experience Macau’s culinary excellence even at high altitude.

Wang further noted that the initiative bolsters Macau’s reputation as a “Creative City of Gastronomy” and elevates its standing as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”. He highlighted that by integrating gastronomy with tourism, MGM and Air Macau are promoting the city’s cultural diversity and innovation, drawing more visitors to discover Macau.
