Galaxy Macau partners with SCMP Live for Capital Insights Forum on financial markets

  • The Capital Insights Forum invited 10 leading experts to discuss five cutting-edge areas in global financial markets.
  • Galaxy Macau intends to host more insightful events for the investment community in the future.

Organized by Galaxy Macau in partnership with SCMP Live – a platform of the South China Morning Post (SCMP) – the “Capital Insights Forum” was held recently at Galaxy International Convention Centre. The forum conducted an in-depth analysis of the latest developments in the global financial markets, enabling investors to gain a better understanding of new trends and potential opportunities in wealth management.

The forum, themed “Transforming Wealth Strategies in a New Era for Chinese Investors”, attracted 10 global top-tier investment experts, industry leaders and thought leaders to discuss the five cutting-edge areas of future wealth, including artificial intelligence, art, clean energy and digital assets.

The forum opened with a joint analysis by Eugene Tang, Managing Editor of the SCMP, and Joe Ngai, Senior Partner and Chairman – Greater China for McKinsey & Company, on the interplay between global monetary politics and geopolitical order. Following this, Andy Wong, Head of Innovation and Technology at Invest Hong Kong, and Fred Li, Managing Director at Gobi Partners, delved into how the rapid rise of artificial intelligence is transforming Chinese consumer behavior.

SCMP Plus Senior Production Editor Christina Pantin and Consensus Chairman Michael Lau led participants in exploring the Web3 world, providing a detailed analysis of the logic behind digital asset allocation and future development directions.

Following the recent “Parents’ Talk” seminar co-hosted by Galaxy Macau and SCMP Learn in March, this forum represented an extension of the initiatives and provided investors with in-depth insights into future wealth strategies.

Galaxy Macau said it will continue to host high-level conferences and events in collaboration with institutions like the SCMP and thought leaders to drive global dialogue and help Macau’s MICE industry enter a new era.
