The Parisian Macao reached its milestone 10th anniversary on 13 September. Since its opening in 2016, the landmark resort has attracted over 100 million visitors from around the globe. To commemorate this extraordinary journey, Sands China has rolled out a series of celebratory events to share the joy with members of the community, employees and partners, marking the remarkable decade of The Parisian Macao’s brilliance.
The 2016 launch of The Parisian Macao symbolized the completion of Sands China’s integrated resort cluster on the Cotai Strip. The Eiffel Tower at The Parisian Macao, built to half the scale of the original in Paris, stands as its centerpiece. Constructed with over 2,800 tons of steel, illuminated by 6,600 meticulously installed lights and refined through more than 4,500 design drawings, it vividly captures the essence of the iconic Parisian landmark. Over the years, the tower has not only become a landmark of the Cotai Strip but has also hosted countless romantic and celebratory moments for residents and visitors alike.
Dr Wilfred Wong, Executive Vice Chairman of Sands China Ltd, highlighted the significance of this milestone, stating, “The 10th anniversary of The Parisian Macao marks a significant milestone in Sands China’s longstanding commitment to supporting Macau’s economic diversification, while also standing as a testament to our shared journey with the city. Over the past decade, The Parisian Macao has continually enriched Macau’s non-gaming tourism offerings through its diverse portfolio of hospitality, MICE, retail, entertainment and family-friendly experiences, while serving as an important catalyst for the high-quality development of the tourism industry.

“An Interstellar Dream” with Le Petit Prince
Inspired by the French literary classic Le Petit Prince, Sands China unveiled a property-wide experience to intertwine the themes of exploration, boundless imagination and appreciation of life’s treasures into anniversary festivities. Guests can enjoy themed installations, limited-time experiences and specially designed merchandise capturing the creative allure of The Parisian Macao.

Celebrity Chef Table Series
From 7 August through six consecutive weekends, seven internationally renowned chefs have brought their culinary expertise to “Le Cristal Parisian” on the sixth floor of The Parisian Macao. Offering exquisite dining experiences, the series has become a culinary highlight for Macau.
Drone light shows
During weekends from 7 August to 13 September, Sands China hosted “A Dazzling 10th Anniversary Celebration” featuring 1,500 drones illuminating the night skies above The Parisian Macao. Presenting mesmerizing displays of lights, these shows transformed the Cotai Strip into a grand outdoor light spectacle.
Community engagement activities
Sands China invited 130 family members from local social service organizations to a “Community Fun Day” to celebrate the anniversary together.
In recognition of the dedication and contributions of its team members, Sands China organized an event involving more than 2,000 employees. Through performances, interactive games and reflections on milestone achievements, the event fostered bonding and unity among staff, celebrating their shared achievements over the past decade.
