Responsible gaming can be defined as preventative measures to minimize the harmful effects associated with gambling, ensuring the well-being of both residents and visitors. By providing resources for education, counseling and support services, Macau aims to create a safe and sustainable gaming environment. Initiatives such as self-exclusion programs, age verification protocols and responsible gaming campaigns are integral to promoting healthy gambling habits and minimizing the negative impacts of excessive gaming.
