Access Macau unveiled, offering market entry services to the SAR

  • Business division offers direct, practical support for international companies seeking to enter Macau’s market.
  • Access Macau helps contribute to economic diversification, in line with concessionaires’ non-gaming investment pledge.

O MEDIA, part of Complete Media Group, has launched Access Macau, a new business division providing direct, practical support to international companies seeking to enter the Macau SAR market.

The concept was introduced at a special luncheon at Artyzen Grand Lapa on Friday, attended by 28 invited guests including senior representatives of all six concessionaires, local business leaders, lawyers and hospitality executives from across the city.

Access Macau has been established in response to the US$16.3 billion in non-gaming investment contractually committed by Macau’s concessionaires during their current 10-year concession period, from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2032. This represents US$31 million every week to be deployed across entertainment, events, tourism, technology, wellness and other sectors, all aimed at contributing to Macau’s ongoing economic diversification.

Access Macau provides direct, practical support to businesses entering the Macau market, grounded in decades of on-the-ground experience across the gaming, hospitality and government ecosystem. O MEDIA’s high-profile media, events and advisory platforms give it strong convening authority and curation power. Combined with a cross-cultural team and operations, Access Macau acts as an effective bridge between Eastern and Western business cultures, while also helping filter out companies and ideas that are not suitable for Macau.

Vice Chairman and CEO of O MEDIA, Andrew W Scott.

Vice Chairman and CEO of O MEDIA, Andrew W Scott, added, “Our goal with Access Macau is to support the Macau SAR government’s economic diversification objectives while helping companies effectively navigate the unique ways of doing business in Macau — ultimately leading them towards successful commercial outcomes.”
