Galaxy Macau launches “Love Between Fairy and Devil” VR Immersive Experience Center

  • Galaxy Macau has launched the “Love Between Fairy and Devil” VR Immersive Experience Center.
  • The Center is by far the largest immersive experience of its kind in Macau.

Galaxy Macau unveiled the “Love Between Fairy and Devil” VR Immersive Experience Center in early August. The new cultural and tourism landmark is a collaboration between Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and mainland China’s video platform iQIYI. The project is based on the popular IP work “Love Between Fairy and Devil”, produced by iQIYI, and stands as the largest immersive experience of its kind in Macau.

Spanning more than 16,000 square feet, the Center features five main zones: Immersive Show & VR Experience, Hanfu Experience, Immersive Decorations, Themed Delights and Themed Souvenirs area.

Guided by live Non-Player Characters (NPCs), visitors can complete tasks and step into the drama’s characters using VR gear. The Hanfu Experience offers 220 traditional Hanfu sets for all ages, complete with makeup and hairstyling services, allowing players to capture stunning photos in sets that turn their Chinese fantasy dreams into reality.

Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau of GEG, noted that the establishment of the “Love Between Fairy and Devil” VR Immersive Experience Center at Galaxy Macau represents not just a technological innovation, but also a significant initiative to introduce global visitors to traditional Chinese culture. He emphasized that this new project also reaffirms the company’s commitment to supporting the Macau SAR Government’s efforts to develop Macau as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”. Kelley added that the group hopes this VR Immersive Experience Center will become a new cultural and tourism landmark in Macau.

Galaxy Macau also announced that there are more traditional Chinese-themed events in the pipeline, particularly during upcoming festivals like Qixi and Mid-Autumn Festival. These events will combine ancient traditions with modern experiences, enriching visitors’ time in Macau and providing fresh momentum for the integration of “Tourism + Culture” in the region.
