The 4th Green Energy and Smart Transportation Forum was successfully held in late November at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo. The event was organized by Nam Kwong International Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd and the Sustainable Development Association.

According to the organizers, the forum not only analyzed the current state of Macau’s transportation system and discussed the development trends of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in Macau but also aimed to provide cutting-edge insights into the NEV industry for the public. By enhancing the penetration of NEVs, the forum sought to promote sustainable “green travel”.

Opening speeches were delivered by Zhen Meiyi, Assistant General Manager of Nam Kwong Cultural and Creative Industries Co., Ltd and Terence Lee, President of the Sustainable Development Association (Sustaincia).

The forum covered five key topics: Transforming Transportation Systems, Sustainable Development of the Racing Industry, Investment Opportunities in Green Transportation, Market Prospects for Electric Vehicles and Motorcycles, and Blueprints for Liveable City Design.

Dozens of automotive industry elites and experts gathered to discuss these themes, resulting in insights that spanned green and smart mobility and urban development in Macau. The outcomes are expected to have a far-reaching impact on the automotive sector, fostering industry collaboration and further advancing Macau’s green transportation ecosystem.

Local students were also invited to attend the event and engage in interactive discussions, providing inspiration for their upcoming student debate competition. This initiative further reinforced environmental awareness and education, embedding ecological values into the community.
