- Associação dos Comerciantes da Boa Cozinha de Macau (ACBCM) aims to promote the economic development of the gastronomy industry in Macau, to unite the industry and to protect the economic rights and interests of the gastronomy industry.
Associação dos Comerciantes da Boa Cozinha de Macau (ACBCM), established for nearly 30 years, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with New Macau for the mutual benefit of both organizations.
Under the agreement, the parties will cooperate in several different ways. New Macau will promote the activities of Associação dos Comerciantes da Boa Cozinha de Macau (ACBCM) through its media channels such as its website, email newsletter, Facebook page, LinkedIn and quarterly print volume. A dedicated strategic partner page on the New Macau website will soon be created. The Associação dos Comerciantes da Boa Cozinha de Macau (ACBCM) logo will be featured on this strategic partners page and in each New Macau weekly newsletter. The parties will liaise regarding ACBCM’s events, initiatives and activities, while ACBCM will assist New Macau in enhanced promotion and distribution of the New Macau website, email newsletter, Facebook page and quarterly print volume.
The President of the ACBCM, Ho Tsz Kit, said, “We are honored to witness this partnership with New Macau. Our goal is ‘to unite small traditional stores, to uphold heritage and to innovate’. We are committed to uniting the food industry and small traditional stores in the community, and to assisting our members in facing and overcoming problems of socio-economic restructuring and human resources. We also promote business exchanges and connections between the industry in Macau and abroad and strengthen the communication between the industry and the government, as well as exchanges with mainland China.”
Ivone de Jesus, Project Director of New Macau, expressed, “We are honored to collaborate with the ACBCM to advance the economic development of the food and beverage industry. Our goal is to assist the Macau SAR Government in fostering a diversified economy. The association aims to improve the local business environment, enhance public and tourist understanding of Macau’s culinary culture, promote the diversification of “Tourism + Gastronomy”, and support SMEs in upgrading and transforming to better integrate into the Greater Bay Area.
