The British Chamber of Commerce in Macao was first launched in July 2006 as the British Business Association of Macao (BBAM) to promote and represent British business interests in the region. The organization was later relaunched to become the British Chamber of Commerce in Macao in 2019.

Since 2019, Britcham Macao has been actively promoting British business codes of practice and values through social events and gatherings. It plays a valuable role in connecting members to other British Chambers and engaging the wider business community, with the aim to support members, expand their members’ network connections and raise awareness of their companies through high quality and inspiring social events, linking them with British trade ethos, education, integrity and standards.
