It has been quite the year for Macau so far, with the strong recovery of business, travel and tourism around the region allowing for many companies to put real energy into their charitable initiatives for the benefit of society. This has been particularly exciting for the team at Macau CSR to witness and has certainly provided plenty for us to write about! In fact, at the time of writing, we have already created an editorial library of over 120 CSR initiatives this year alone – and we’ve barely even touched the surface!
Although we have now been going for more than nine months, Macau CSR remains a very young project and we take great pride in seeing our audience of loyal followers organically grow. Our readers include many influential people from various Macau organizations, government and more, some of whom have even started letting us know about exciting new CSR initiatives they’ve become aware of! We thank them for their support.
Macau CSR has also continued to build on our important partnerships with non-profit and charity organizations and we’re pleased to announce that we now have nine Strategic Partners in place: BritCham Macao, Caritas Macau, France Macau Chamber of Commerce, Macao Community Youth Volunteers Development Association, Macau Professional Speaking Association, Orbis Macau, Rui Cunha Foundation, Taipa Village Cultural Association and Youth Association of People.
As the first truly independent media brand covering CSR and economic diversification in Macau, we are proud to continue supporting the charitable efforts of companies and organizations from all walks of life and look forward to bringing you more important stories on CSR in Macau over the coming months and years.
