MGM has reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to community welfare by supporting the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s (SCMM) Welfare Shop for the 13th consecutive year. Since the project’s inception in 2013, MGM has contributed a total of MOP 3.8 million, including this year’s donation of MOP 300,000 to help sustain the shop’s daily operations.

As part of this year’s initiative, MGM distributed reusable handcarts filled with food hampers to over 370 underprivileged households across the city. Each hamper, packed by members of MGM’s management team and its Golden Lion volunteers, included rice, noodles, canned food, oatmeal, cooking oil and other daily necessities. The handcarts, specially designed by MGM, were provided to make transportation of the goods more convenient for the recipients.
