Distinguished guests, including government officials and community leaders, attended the event, where Lawrence Ho, Chairman & CEO of Melco, paid tribute to the team’s dedication. In his remarks, Ho stated, “Volunteering is a powerful way to create meaningful change, and caring for the community has always been core to Melco’s culture and vision. I am honored to be here today in celebration and recognition of the efforts and great work of our volunteering team colleagues to help us collectively achieve such goals.

“We are grateful for the team’s dedication in engaging and helping the community. We also extend our gratitude to our partnering associations, helping us extend our reach within society. We will go on to promote volunteerism through initiatives including ‘Simple Acts of Kindness’ and ‘Teaching Children Values’, not just within the company, but among the industry and broader community.”

The company’s “Teaching Children Values” initiative was also spotlighted, encouraging employees and their children to participate in volunteer activities together, fostering family bonds and instilling positive values from an early age.
