MFDIA to host fashion parade at The Venetian Macao to showcase talent of local designers

  • MFDIA will organize the MFDIA Fashion Parade 2025 at The Venetian Macao.
  • The event will bring together 17 local designers presenting 58 ensembles.

To foster the growth of original fashion design in Macau and align with the SAR Government’s policy direction for developing the cultural and creative industries, the Macao Fashion Design Industry Association (MFDIA) will organize the MFDIA Fashion Parade 2025 – ‘Light of Macao Designers’ – showcase on 25 October 2025 during the “Macao Fashion Festival 2025” event at The Venetian Macao.

This event will bring together 17 local designers presenting 58 ensembles, demonstrating the creativity and achievements of Macau’s design community.

The showcase encompasses diverse styles including menswear, womenswear, casual wear and evening wear, presented collectively by MFIDA member designers. It features works from established designers while providing a vital platform for emerging talent, enabling the wider world to gain deeper insight into the strength and potential of Macau’s original design. MFDIA said it anticipates the event will enhance industry exchange, drive technical advancement and elevate the image of Macau’s fashion industry regionally and internationally.

Since its establishment in 2021, MFIDA has attracted over 80 members, encompassing designers, industry professionals and educational representatives, all dedicated to fostering collaborative development within the sector. The association stated that hosting a members’ showcase not only concentrates the display of design styles but also facilitates industry cooperation, further promoting Macau’s fashion prowess.

The event will take place from 6pm on 25 October in the Florence Ballroom of The Venetian Macao. Organized by MFDIA and sponsored by the Macau Textile Merchants Association, it receives support from the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Centre and multiple collaborating partners. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the creative vision and professional execution of Macau’s designers up close.
