SJM Title-Sponsors “SJM 2025 Association Cup Small Dragon Boat Races”

The “SJM 2025 Association Cup Small Dragon Boat Races,” sponsored by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, title-sponsored by SJM Resorts, S.A. and organized by the Dragon Boat Association of Macao, China, took place on 27 and 28 September. The competition attracted 139 teams from across the Greater Bay Area. SJM fielded six dragon boat teams this year, achieving strong performances in several categories.

SJM has long supported the promotion and development of this event, serving for many years as one of the organizers and helping to elevate the races from a local festivity into a globally recognized competition.

This year, building on this legacy, SJM has also taken on the title sponsorship of the “SJM 2025 Association Cup Small Dragon Boat Races” for the first time, further underscoring its continued commitment to advancing the sport, fostering community spirit and strengthening dragon boat’s role as a powerful medium for sharing the “Chinese story” with the world.

Over the two days of competition at Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, SJM’s dragon boat teams gave their best efforts, demonstrating strong teamwork and achieving commendable results. In the 2,000-meter Pursuit Races, SJM Golden Lotus secured third place in the Women’s Category, while SJM Prosperous claimed second place in the Open Category. On the following day, in the 200-meter races, SJM Jubilee delivered a steady performance in the Mixed Category and finished as runner-up.

SJM said it will in future continue to broaden its support for sporting initiatives, promoting dragon boat and other events on the international stage while enriching Macau with more diverse cultural, sporting and tourism experiences.
