To deepen Macau youths’ understanding of national development achievements and broaden their innovation and entrepreneurship horizons, the Wynn Care Foundation, with support from the Jiangxi Chinese Overseas Friendship Association, organized a 26-member “Macao Dual-Innovation Youth Study Tour” from 14 to 17 November 2025. The delegation visited multiple locations in Jiangxi for exchange and learning.

The itinerary featured a rich program covering key aspects including revolutionary heritage, rural revitalization, ancient architectural conservation and eco-tourism. The delegation first arrived in Nanchang, visiting cultural landmarks such as Tengwang Pavilion to gain an in-depth understanding of the “Hero City” and its pivotal role in China’s revolutionary history.

Subsequently, the delegation traveled to Yingtan to explore the World Natural Heritage site of Mount Longhu, then took bamboo rafts down the Luxihe River to experience the beauty of Danxia landforms and witness how eco-tourism drives local economic development.

The journey continued to Nanfeng County, renowned for its honey tangerines. The youth toured modernized citrus orchards and upgraded honey tangerine farms supported by the Wynn Care Foundation. They personally experienced honey tangerine harvesting and engaged in in-depth discussions with local farmers about successful experiences in leveraging distinctive industries to drive rural revitalization.

The final stop was Yudu County, the departure point of the Long March of the Red Army. Participants visited the memorial park, museum and Tan Tou Village to learn about the spirit of the Long March and appreciate the enduring power of patriotic heritage.

Wynn noted that this Jiangxi Study Tour not only deepened Macau youths’ understanding of revolutionary culture and rural revitalization, but also inspired them to pioneer innovations in cultural creativity, tourism and agricultural technology. It motivated participants to actively respond to the call of the times, seize national development opportunities and leverage Macau’s strengths.
