Melco celebrates Chinese New Year via series of celebrations

As the Bingwu Year of the Horse begins, Melco Resorts & Entertainment has rolled out a series of festive celebrations, including Chinese New Year festvities and participation in the grand float parade. These initiatives are designed to offer guests diverse cultural experiences and immerse them in the joyous spirit of the Spring Festival.

Melco said it remains dedicated to advancing Macau’s “Tourism+” development strategy and to delivering world-class entertainment experiences for its guests.

Ushering in a vibrant Chinese New Year with the lion dance and eye-dotting ceremony accompanied by festive drums, Melco Chairman & CEO Lawrence Ho was joined by senior management in traditional Chinese New Year celebration. Stepping into the Year of the Horse, the lion dance aims to bring good fortune and auspicious blessings to all.

Melco also upheld the festive tradition by unveiling a dazzling float at the Macao Government Tourism Office’s “Parade for Celebration of the Year of the Horse”. This stunning float sent warm New Year greetings to Macau locals and visitors alike, reinforcing Macau’s “Golden Business Card” as a global metropolis while supporting the city’s economic diversification

Providing a fusion of heritage and innovation, the float was inspired by the triumphant return of Melco’s resident show House of Dancing Water, taking audiences on a journey through art, motion and modern culture, and celebrating the spirit of renewal and creativity. Its shimmering gold and green accents represented prosperity and harmony – timeless themes of the Lunar New Year.
