Supported by SJM Resorts, S.A., a longstanding supporter of Macau’s motorsports development, SJM Theodore Racing secured victory in the first round of the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia (LSTA) in Sydney, Australia, which took place from 4 to 6 April.

Macau driver Charles Leong Hon Chio, a homegrown multi-time winner at the Macau Grand Prix, proved to be a key driver for the team, partnering with Alex Denning to win the first race of the season by 12 seconds at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, said, “Motorsport is a key part of the heritage and cultural identity of Macau and of SJM. We are honored to support our local Theodore Racing team every step of the way, committed to nurturing young talent while continuing to spotlight Macau as a global ‘City of Sports’ and demonstrating our energy and dynamism to the world.”

Theodore team principal Teddy Yip Junior added, “We’re grateful for the continued support of our long-time partner SJM. With the knowledge and experience gained from a successful first season in the category, we aim to be consistent contenders this year.”
Celebrated as the first and only Chinese team to enter Formula 1, SJM Theodore Racing has claimed multiple victories at the Macau Grand Prix. Leong and teammate Denning are behind the wheel of their Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 for the series.
The LSTA season consists of six rounds featuring a total of 12 races. Drivers will compete in these six challenging rounds across three continents, leading up to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals at Misano, Italy, in November.
