- Mesa Bar and Winnie Chen, Resort Head Sommelier at Grand Lisboa Palace, were recognized with the “Tatler Best 20 Bars” and “Best Sommelier” awards.
SJM Resorts, S.A. gained seven awards in the newly announced 2025 list for “Tatler Best Hong Kong and Macau”, with its flagship property Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau clinching the “Best Service Hotel” award.
Four SJM restaurants have been named among the “Tatler Best 20 Restaurants” in Macau. These include Robuchon au Dôme and The Eight at Grand Lisboa Macau, and Don Alfonso 1890 at Grand Lisboa Palace -all of which retain their positions from previous years. Meanwhile, Mesa by José Avillez made its debut on the list with Mesa Bar also on the list of “Tatler Best 20 Bars.”

In addition, Winnie Chen, Resort Head Sommelier at Grand Lisboa Palace, won the “Best Sommelier” award, showcasing SJM’s strength in nurturing hospitality talent and advancing wine service excellence in the region.

Organized by leading luxury lifestyle publication Tatler Hong Kong, Tatler Best was launched in 2025 as a rebranded and expanded guide to spotlight the region’s top restaurants, bars and hotels. Formerly known as the Tatler Dining Guide, the publication has been one of Asia’s most influential voices in high-end dining since its founding in 1984.
