Melco Resorts & Entertainment is stepping up efforts to attract international tourists to Macau this summer, actively supporting the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) in promoting the city as a world-class travel destination.
The company’s recent participation in the MGTO’s “Experience Macao” roadshow in Seoul, South Korea, from 30 May to 2 June, targeted younger travelers at the popular Hyundai Seoul shopping mall, offering an engaging mix of interactive games, immersive photo zones, live performances and special travel offers. The campaign, themed “My Favorite Macao”, invited South Koreans to discover the city’s “tourism +” highlights and experience its signature blend of culture, entertainment and luxury.
Melco is also spotlighting its latest attractions, including its brand-new luxury hotels, MICHELIN-starred restaurants and reimagined “House of Dancing Water” show, offering visitors a glimpse of Macau’s evolving leisure landscape. Exclusive packages for food, entertainment and accommodation are being promoted during the roadshow period, aiming to turn Korean interest into actual travel bookings for the summer.
Beyond Korea, Melco continued its global outreach in June with a major showing at Bangkok’s Siam Paragon as part of the MGTO’s “Macao Wonder” campaign. Here, Melco introduced Thai travelers to Macau’s world-class hospitality and entertainment, using interactive experiences and celebrity performances to spark interest in Macau holidays.
Through these dynamic international promotions, Melco said it expects to draw a new wave of overseas visitors to Macau this summer, reinforcing the city’s position as a must-visit destination for global travelers seeking variety, quality and excitement.
