• Sands China marked the 10th anniversary of its local SME support program at The Londoner Macao, releasing a commemorative booklet.
• Event featured 2025 Sands Supplier Excellence Awards to recognize seven suppliers with awards and prizes, and certificates of appreciation for 40 long-term SME partners.

Sands China held a ceremony on 9 December at The Londoner Macao to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Local Small, Medium and Micro Suppliers Support Programme, bringing together local SME partners to review a decade of collaboration and achievements. The celebration included unveiling the program’s 10th anniversary commemorative booklet.

The Local SME Suppliers Support Programme was co-established in 2015 by Sands China and the Macao Chamber of Commerce as Macao’s first initiative led by a tourism and leisure enterprise aimed at promoting collaboration with local small and medium-sized businesses. The program focuses on supporting small and micro suppliers, “Made in Macao” companies and young Macao entrepreneurs in alignment with the Macao SAR Government’s SME development policies and Sands China’s commitment to fostering local business growth.

Since its launch, the program has effectively strengthened collaboration between large corporations and SMEs. Since 2016, Sands China’s total procurement has reached MOP 119.4 billion, with 83% sourced locally and partnerships involving over 4,700 SMEs. The commemorative booklet highlights the progress and success stories of the past decade, exemplifying the growth achieved through the joint efforts of Sands China and its local partners.

At the 10th anniversary ceremony, Sands China executives presented certificates of appreciation to 40 SME partners in gratitude for their contributions over the years – many of whom have worked with the company for over two decades. The event also featured the 2025 Sands Supplier Excellence Awards, honouring seven outstanding suppliers.
