(SJM) has organized a series of activities, bringing together elite athletes, rising stars and a vibrant community of tennis fans to promote the sport of tennis.

“Dialogues with Outstanding Athletes”: Sharing competitive insights and inspiring young minds
On 2 December, the “Dialogues with Outstanding Athletes” session took place at GLP Arte in Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, featuring the 2022 CTA Tour men’s and women’s singles champions, Cui Jie and Liu Fangzhou. They engaged with 35 secondary and tertiary students from Macau, sharing candid reflections on key turning points in their careers, their training approaches, and how they manage extreme pressure during preparation and competition.

Students actively participated in the discussion, raising questions on topics such as technical readiness, match-day adjustments and athlete self-management. The autograph session at the end of the event brought the atmosphere to its climax, showcasing the strong enthusiasm and curiosity of Macau’s younger generation towards the sport.
“Tennis for All: Macau Special Olympics Interaction Camp”: Experiencing the joy of sport and encouraging equal participation
Held on 7 December at the Macau Tennis Academy, the “Tennis for All – Macau Special Olympics Interaction Camp” continued the success of previous editions. Led by internationally renowned tennis player and Special Olympics Global Ambassador Li Na, along with CTA Finals Ambassador Wu Chun and numerous guests, the clinic provided 20 Macau Special Olympics members a welcoming and enjoyable introduction to tennis through a series of thoughtfully designed games and practice exercises.

The session opened with Li Na sharing her insights as the Special Olympics Global Ambassador, and Wu Chun recounting his early experiences and passion for tennis. This was followed by engaging interactive games with the participants. The event concluded with a photo and autograph session.
SJM has a long history of supporting major sporting events in Macau.
“Tennis for All: Celebrity & Elite Players Exhibition Match”: A crossover duel on court
On 6 December, SJM introduced the “Tennis for All: Celebrity & Elite Players Exhibition Match,” creating a spotlight moment where sport and star power share the same stage. Internationally renowned tennis legend Li Na, CTA Finals Ambassador Wu Chun, Hong Kong artist and tennis devotee Alex Lam, and Hong Kong’s first two-time junior Grand Slam champion and National Games Men’s Singles tennis bronze medallist, Coleman Wong, headlined this special program, reinforcing Macau’s standing as a dynamic host city for major regional sporting events. Prior to the match, the celebrity and elite players met and greeted fans at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.

The “Champions Night”: Award-winning athletes and organizations
The “Champions Night” Award Presentation Ceremony was held at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. The organizing committee specially prepared a commemorative plaque in tribute to SJM’s support and promotion of tennis in China.

SJM has long supported major sporting events in Macau and continues to bring the spirit of sports into the community through a diverse range of engagement initiatives. This year’s programs extended the reach of the tournament along two dimensions: competitive inspiration and inclusive participation. They offered residents opportunities to appreciate tennis beyond the main matches.
SJM will continue to collaborate with international sports organizations and local partners to deliver inspiring and culturally enriching sports programs, leveraging the power of sports to strengthen community bonds, encourage cultural exchange and promote positive values.
