In 2025, Sands China organized its Occupational Safety and Health Month for the eighth consecutive year, promoting workplace safety and healthy living among team members through interactive experiences, health education and on-site support services. The successful OSH Month, held from October to November, further demonstrated the company’s ongoing commitment to its employees’ physical and mental well-being.

OSH Month 2025 took place across The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao, The Londoner Macao and Sands Macao, and centered on five themes: Health Index, Healthy Eating, OSH Awareness, Exercise and Inner Wellness.
Activities included themed roadshows, health talks, practical workshops, traffic safety education, vaccination services, health check-ups and regular self-monitoring initiatives, encouraging team members to exercise regularly, maintain a balanced diet and reduce workplace health risks.

The six-week initiative included an OSH Month Showcase held on 4 November in the back-of-house team member area at The Venetian Macao, featuring the finals of the Occupational Safety and Health Challenge, themed exhibition booths, and the annual OSH Awards. The awards are the first of their kind among Macao’s integrated resort operators and continue to recognize departments that have demonstrated excellence in OSH, promoting full participation in establishing a culture of health and safety.

In addition, the 2025 program introduced chronic disease screening, featuring advanced AI retinal scan technology to assess multiple health indicators and provide early risk alerts. Sands China also partnered with Kiang Wu Hospital and the University of Macau to offer liver function index testing and deliver personalized health management recommendations. Meanwhile, the new “Five Senses Healing” roadshow guided team members in relaxing and maintaining positive emotions through sensory-based approaches.
Paulo Cheong, SVP of Human Resources for Sands China Ltd, said, “Sands China firmly believes that the safety and health of our 27,000 team members is the driving force behind the company’s sustainable development. As the largest private employer in Macau, we prioritize team members’ well-being through a focus on safety, health and prevention. We continuously enhance the work environment through diverse initiatives like OSH activities, actively promoting a healthy workplace and fostering the physical and mental health of our team members.”
