“MGM Hong Kong International Airport City Terminal” officially opens, linking Macau to HKIA and Zhuhai Airport

Jointly established by Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Zhuhai Airport, the “MGM Hong Kong International Airport City Terminal” has officially commenced operations.

The premium city terminal features an MGM-exclusive token

Developed as a premium dual‑city airport terminal, the project is located at MGM COTAI, which provides the venue and comprehensive supporting facilities. Cross‑border passenger transport services are operated by China Travel Tours Transportation Services Hong Kong Limited.

The “MGM Hong Kong International Airport City Terminal” officially began service on 4 February. It offers services such as self‑check‑in and real‑time flight information and operates daily from 9am to 6:30pm.

The “MGM HongKong International Airport City Terminal” offers services including self-check-in counters

Located at the B1 bus station of MGM COTAI, the city terminal provides check‑in services for both HKIA and Zhuhai Airport. After checking in, travelers may choose to take the designated transport service to the airport or make their own way there.

The city terminal also provides a range of cross‑border transport links. Travelers can reach HKIA via the Hong Kong‑Zhuhai‑Macao Bridge in about 90 minutes or connect to Zhuhai Airport via the Hengqin Port in approximately 60 minutes, offering more convenient, diverse and efficient travel options for travelers from Macau and surrounding regions.

At the opening ceremony, Kenneth Feng, CEO and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, said: “The new city airport terminal extends the check‑in services of HKIA and Zhuhai Airport directly to MGM COTAI, enabling our guests to connect with both airports more efficiently and enjoy a smoother cross‑border travel experience, further reinforcing Macau’s role as a regional transportation hub.”

Feng said the terminal will play a positive role in attracting international visitors, allowing them to explore Macau at a more relaxed pace and experience its unique charm.
