Sands China has celebrated more than 1,000 employees marking 20, 15 and 10 years of service in 2025, recognizing their commitment through a series of long-service ceremonies in April. The company said it attributes its stable development and remarkable achievements to the professionalism and dedication of its team members serving in various roles.

According to Sands China, by the end of 2025 over 14,000 team members – representing half of Sands China’s current workforce – will have served at least a decade with the company. Of these, more than 6,000 will have reached 15 years or more and over 2,000 will have surpassed 20 years, underscoring the enduring strength of Sands China’s corporate culture.

The company said it prioritizes staff development, with the proportion of local residents in management roles rising from 20% in 2004 to 91% today.
Dr Wilfred Wong, Executive Vice Chairman of Sands China, expressed pride in the company’s team, noting, “Many local residents have been promoted to management roles, fully demonstrating their passion for their work. I sincerely thank all of our long-serving colleagues for their unwavering efforts throughout the years.”
Grant Chum, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, added, “Employees are the driving force of a corporation’s development and the affection and experiences of our long-serving team members have truly been indispensable to our success. Each of our projects contains our collective endeavors and dedication, and a strong team is always a source of unwavering support. Let us continue to stand united and forge ahead as we strive to create another illustrious chapter for the city.”
At the ceremonies, long-serving employees were presented with trophies, certificates and gifts in recognition of their lasting contributions.
