Sands China has once again demonstrated its commitment to community welfare, bringing together more than 300 volunteers from Sands China, Caritas Macau’s “Longevity” Special Care Centre and Macau Polytechnic University (MPU) to assemble 3,000 food kits at The Venetian Macao in June. The effort marked the fourth consecutive year of the Sands Cares Global Food Kit Build, aimed at providing food assistance to local populations in need.

Each kit contains 16 essential items, including soup pack, biscuits, and staple foods like cooking oil, rice, oatmeal, noodles and canned food. The items were purchased from local SMEs and charitable organizations, including soup packs from Tung Sin Tong and reusable kit bags from Fuhong Society of Macau. In total, the 3,000 kits weigh around 30 tons. Sands Cares Ambassadors worked alongside Caritas Macau to distribute the food kits to elderly residents, people with disabilities, low-income families and food bank recipients.
