- The event gathered representatives from six Cities of Gastronomy – Chengdu, Shunde, Yangzhou, Huai’an, Chaozhou and Macau.
Organized by the Shunde Federation and Commercial Union Association of Macao, and presented by Wynn, “The Cities of Gastronomy (China) in Macao 2025 – China Culinary Development Exchange Forum” was held at the Meeting Hall of Wynn Macau on 4 December 2025. The event aimed to create an exchange and cooperation platform for the catering industry and to promote the inheritance and innovation of culinary culture.

As a special sponsor, Wynn was honored to have Guilherme Martins, Director of Sustainability of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, serve as the keynote speaker. He engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from six “Cities of Gastronomy” – Chengdu, Shunde, Yangzhou, Huai’an, Chaozhou and Macau – to jointly explore sustainable development pathways for the food and beverage sector.
Martins delivered a keynote speech titled “Circular Economy and Culinary Innovation”, elaborating on how “closed-loop culinary innovation” fosters green transformation within the dining industry. He also shared Wynn’s sustainable practices in daily operations, including digital ingredient planning, smart inventory optimization and artificial intelligence applications that support the integration of a circular economy model.

On the same evening, “The Cities of Gastronomy (China) in Macao 2025 – Renowned Chefs Showcase: Culinary Exchange Dinner” took place at the Grand Ballroom of Wynn Macau. Master chefs from the six Cities of Gastronomy teamed up to present signature dishes reflecting unique local flavors, offering guests an extraordinary feast rich in both visual and culinary enjoyment.

Raymond Vong, Masterchef Consultant of Macanese Cuisine at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, accepted a certificate of appreciation on behalf of Wynn, underscoring the company’s commitment to fostering cultural and culinary exchange.
Since 2018, Wynn has continued to support “The Cities of Gastronomy (China) in Macao” series, promoting interaction and collaboration among the six Cities of Gastronomy through gatherings of distinguished chefs and industry leaders.
