The 2026 Autumn Salon by Art For All Society (AFA) officially kicked off in Macau on 16 October. This year’s motto is “Setting Sail for a Tale of Two Cities,” with the hope to broaden the visibility of the local Macau arts and culture brand to a wider horizon.

Co-organized by Art For All Society (AFA) and the Orient Foundation (Fundação Oriente) since 2010, the Autumn Salon has now entered its 17th year. This year’s focus bridges Macau and Shanghai, opening a cross-regional and cross-cultural dialogue.
The Autumn Salon this year runs from 16 October to 22 November, while the opening ceremony is scheduled for 24 October, continuing the tradition of showcasing artists from across Macau and the different mediums they embrace. This year’s Autumn Salon features 95 artists, with around 120 participating works/sets, covering oil painting, watercolor, Chinese painting, watercolour painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, digital art, video, sculpture and installation, among others.

The Autumn Salon will continue to be held at Casa Garden, the headquarters of the Orient Foundation, a location with deep historical grounding. This year, AFA has also organized related activities including art forums and guest dialogues, inviting distinguished guests from near and far to share their experiences and decode the industry ecosystem. The group aims to encourage audiences to explore the connections and value within the art ecosystem chain and, more importantly, to enlighten and guide young people who are just starting out and aspire to seek development in the art industry.
