The 2025 Club des Chefs des Chefs annual meeting gathered representing chefs from countries across four continents, including China, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland and the United States. Fourteen of the world’s most distinguished head chefs united to celebrate culinary excellence and encourage cultural exchange in Macau, Shenzhen and Bangkok.

One of the highlights of the CCC’s visit to Macau was a Dim Sum Masterclass led by Chef Homan Tsui, Executive Chinese Chef of MGM Macau, and his award-winning team. During the class, CCC chefs and members tried their hands at creating one of Lingnan cuisine’s cherished traditional sweets – Chinese puff pastry with 20-year-aged tangerine peel and red bean. The session first introduced participants to the eight principal schools of Chinese cuisine, including Cantonese cuisine, with a special focus on the regional flavors and features of Lingnan.

To deepen the delegation’s appreciation of Chinese culture, MGM curated a cultural experience for CCC President Gilles Bragard and the visiting chefs – a private tour of the newly opened Silk Road Beyond Borders exhibition at the POLY MGM MUSEUM. Through a docent-led tour, participants explored the exhibition’s theme, which echoes the Club’s core values of peaceful cooperation, openness and inclusivity, mutual learning and shared prosperity, highlighting the continuing importance of cultural exchange.
Following the visit, the guests savored an authentic Cantonese lunch at Grand Imperial Court, before attending a cocktail reception at Aux Beaux Arts. The evening concluded with a charity dinner at the Mandarin Oriental.
