This year sees the 15th anniversary of the FMCC Charity Gala Dinner. Themed “Paris Extravaganza”, the annual event will be held on 15 September and feature the debut of the ESG Awards, honoring those who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of environment, society and governance. According to FMCC, the ESG Awards will incorporate three categories: Best Project, Best SME and Best NGO.
The event will also support the flagship project of the Society of Food & Environmental Health (Macao), “Leave No Food Behind”, which centers on upcycling food trimmings and off-shelf vegetables into healthy pet food by applying various food technologies and safety experiences.
“Last year’s gala was a huge success, with nearly 300 VIP guests in attendance,” said FMCC Chaiman Rutger Verschuren.

“Thanks to the support and the generosity of our participants, we were able to make a significant donation to ARTM’s outreach program and achieved meaningful results from last year Gala.
“We hope this year’s Gala dinner will be another success with the goal of raising more than MOP$50,000 to help protect the environment.”
