Wynn hosted the “Snooker Legend and Rising Star Exhibition Game” at the Wynn Macau Grand Ballroom on 31 May.
The event featured seven-time World Snooker Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan facing off against 2023 World Championship semi-finalist Si Jiahui, bringing a high-level international match to local residents and tourists in Macau. After an intense battle, O’Sullivan emerged victorious with a 2-1 win.

O’Sullivan expressed his gratitude after the exhibition match, saying, “I would like to thank the organizer for inviting me back to Wynn again. I really enjoyed playing against Si Jiahui and meeting new snooker fans in Macau. I can’t wait to be back in Macau once again to play even more exciting matches with other world-class snooker players soon.”

Wynn also hosted a special exhibition game dinner in the grand ballroom, where guests enjoyed a sweet surprise of cleverly crafted snooker-inspired desserts. A live band performed a medley of hit songs throughout the dinner, and to add even more excitement to the evening, Wynn hosted a lucky draw for guests to win snooker balls, cue sticks and jackets – all personally autographed by celebrity snooker players.
Wynn stated that the company is continuously promoting Macau as a “City of Sports” by “introducing top-tier sporting events and cultivating a local sports culture infused with the unique elements of the city.”
By bringing world-class exhibition games of a prestigious “Masters” level to Macau for both locals and tourists to experience first-hand, Wynn said it “aims to promote the development of local sports, advance the collaborative development of the city’s tourism and leisure sports industries, promote moderate economic diversification, and create new opportunities for solidifying Macau’s role as a World Center of Tourism and Leisure.”
