In early November, Wynn held “Beyond the Gym: Global Perspectives on Fitness & Wellness” at Wynn Macau. The event examined emerging trends in the health and wellness industry, drawing over 100 attendees from the Health Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, local and Hong Kong universities, fitness clubs and SMEs in the sports sector.
Discussions centered on two key themes: fitness and wellness, aiming to foster the development of Macau’s “Big Health” industry. Key sessions were led by Ed Haynes, Founder and CEO of Coastal Fitness HK, and Cintia Martins, Macau Global Wellness Day Ambassador. Featured speakers included Moritz Fürste, Olympic medalist and co-founder of HYROX; António Barrias, Head Coach and Programmer at Underground Online Coaching & Education Platform; Dr Kit Man Ao, a seasoned physiotherapist; and Trixie Isla-Velez, Founder of Defin8 Fitness. Discussions delved into global fitness trends and innovative approaches to injury prevention.
Wynn’s executives, including Olivier Bonard, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations of Wynn Palace, and Angel Vong, Vice President of Finance of Wynn Palace, also participated in panel discussions, offering insights into global fitness trends and Wynn’s contributions to the wellness industry.
