GEG supports autism awareness with creative workshops and charity donation

  • GEG held a World Autism Awareness Day activity to build a community care network.
  • GEG aims to enhance public awareness of autism through these activities.

In support of World Autism Awareness Day on 2 April, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) joined the Macau Autism Association for the “2025 World Care Autism Day Series Activities”. GEG, as one of the supporting units of the initiative, recently hosted a special parent-child workshop as part of its Inclusive Creative Arts Projects for “Empathy in Action”.

The event, held at Galaxy Art, invited 10 parent-child families from the Macau Autism Association to participate in the “Prayer Doll’s New Clothes” workshop. Under the guidance of the instructor, parent-child pairs selected fabrics, designed hair colors and attached decorations, gradually creating new outfits for the wish dolls.

Following the workshop, the group visited Galaxy Kidz, which has been classed as a “Certified Autism Center” by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). The center offers various interactive facilities and exciting activities designed to engage a diverse range of individuals, including those with autism. Additionally, GEG representatives presented a donation to the association, raised from a recent charity sale, to support its ongoing efforts.

GEG aims to raise public awareness of autism through such events and create an inclusive environment for individuals with autism. Moving forward, GEG will remain dedicated to fostering a supportive, equal and sustainable community in Macau, in line with its long-standing commitment to social responsibility.
