- “Silk Roads Beyond Borders,” highlighting 200 pieces of relics and artworks comes to a close on 31 August.
- “Luminous Brilliance: The Artistry of Zibo Liuli” showcasing 180 historic and contemporary works in October.
POLY MGM MUSEUM’s annual exhibition “Silk Road Beyond Borders,” featuring 200 pieces of relics and artworks telling the story of cultural exchange and mutual learning that bloomed along the Silk Roads, is in its final stretch, closing out on 31 August, but an exciting new exhibition is already on its way.

In the final weeks of August, visitors have a final chance to appreciate the four thematic chapters in the exhibition, which feature more than 200 historical artifacts and contemporary works, as timeless masterpieces are placed in contemporary artistic expression.
The outgoing exhibition features the presentation of two venerated 18th-century works by Venetian School masters Canaletto (Giovanni Antonio Canal) and Michele Marieschi, made possible through the support of the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong and Macau.

Additionally, the museum’s summer-exclusive digital card collection game “Silk Road GO” transforms 30 iconic artifacts and artworks from “Silk Roads Beyond Borders” into exclusive digital collectible cards – available through mobile missions.
During the summer holidays, the Museum has also expanded the schedule of “Museum Encounter – The Tang Story,” with evening sessions every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 7pm.
Following the “Silk Roads Beyond Borders” exhibition, POLY MGM MUSEUM is partnering with the National Museum of China and the Zibo Ceramic and Glass Museum to present “Luminous Brilliance: The Artistry of Zibo Liuli,” this October. Bringing together 180 stunning historic and contemporary works, the exhibition traces the 3,000-year evolution of Chinese liuli artistry.
The work showcases the richness and continuity of the tradition across millennia, enriched via immersive multi-media installations.
