In the recently announced 2025 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide, two of MGM’s regional Chinese restaurants – the Lingnan cuisine specialist Imperial Court and the traditional Sichuan restaurant Five Foot Road – once again received the prestigious “Black Pearl One-Diamond Restaurant” accolade.

To celebrate this achievement, the chefs behind these two restaurants have unveiled new tasting menus for guests to enjoy.

Executive Chef Homan Tsui, who leads Imperial Court, brings over 20 years of culinary expertise to the table. The newly launched six-course “Black Pearl Degustation Menu” includes the restaurant’s signature dish, “Crispy Chicken Skin with Shrimp Mousse and Salted Fish Flakes”, alongside delicacies such as “Double-boiled Sea Whelk Soup with Fresh Yellow Fungus and Seaweed”, showcasing the true essence of Lingnan cuisine.

Meanwhile, Executive Sous Chef Yang Dengquan of Five Foot Road, with nearly 40 years of Sichuan culinary experience, has curated an eight-course Black Pearl Tasting Menu that masterfully blends tradition with innovation. Highlights include nostalgic handmade dishes from old Chengdu, such as “Crispy Halibut with Sichuan Peppercorn Sauce”, alongside modern creations like “Braised Fish Belly and Fish Maw with Red Bell Pepper and Pickled Chili Sauce”, offering diners a layered and immersive flavor experience.

Hubert Wang, President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM China Holdings Limited, expressed his delight over the recognition received by the two restaurants.

“These authoritative recognitions not only affirm MGM’s dedication to promote the traditional Chinese culinary culture but also highlight the exceptional efforts of our Golden Lion Team in delivering outstanding dining experiences and services,” he said.

Wang further emphasized that in the future, MGM will continue to spotlight the essence of regional Chinese cuisines in Macau, the “Creative City of Gastronomy”, showcasing the unique charm of Macau’s “Tourism + Gastronomy” appeal to both domestic and international audiences.
