Melco Resorts & Entertainment recently sponsored two globally renowned events, “Inclusion Conference & Festival” and “Macau Golf Masters”, providing an important opportunity for exchange and contributing to the promotion of social diversity and inclusion.
The Inclusion Conference, organized by the Charity Association of Macau Business Readers, aims to position Macau as a regional hub for inclusive innovation and advocacy. The conference brings together international experts in autism, clinical psychology, rehabilitation and public policy.
The 2025 edition emphasized empowering individuals with neurodiversity through evidence-based approaches, family support and community-driven action. The event attracted hundreds of attendees including professionals, educators, parents and advocates from across Asia and beyond.
Melco also continued to sponsor this year’s “Macau Golf Masters”, the world’s largest golfing tournament for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Melco invited participants from both events to an awards ceremony and dinner held at Studio City. Approximately 120 guests were also invited to enjoy the facilities at Studio City Water Park, designated as Macau’s first Certified Autism Center by IBCCES, as well as treating them to a special movie session at Studio City Cinema.
Akiko Takahashi, Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff to Melco Chairman & CEO, said, “We believe that inclusion fosters a more accepting and diverse environment, essential for the sustainable development of our community.
“We are honored to continue sponsoring both two events. They create opportunities for meaningful dialogue and positive exchange, set on a stage that celebrates excellence, resilience and international friendship. Congratulations to the organizers, contributors and attendees for bringing these wonderful events to life and supporting Macau’s development as a city of inclusivity.”
