MGM has consistently looked to champion responsible gaming and sound financial management principles, continually deepening educational initiatives through diverse approaches.

On 20 September, MGM partnered with the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) and local theater group Dream Theatre Association to host two themed events, conveying rational entertainment and financial literacy concepts to secondary school pupils, university students and young adults.

On the day, MGM signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the Healthy Financial Management Campus Promotion Programme with MUST, launching a three-year collaboration in financial education for university students. The initiative will combine the company’s expertise in responsible gaming with university resources, utilizing specialized lectures and a “Financial Wellness Creative Competition” to help students develop sound financial management principles.

As part of its orientation activities, the “University Life” lecture featured sessions on healthy financial management and responsible entertainment. The competition, centered on short videos, encouraged students to deepen their learning through creativity.

On the same day, the launch ceremony for the third edition of the MGM Financial Education School Tour 2025 – Gen Z Earth Cup was also held. Guided by the Education and Youth Development Bureau, organized by MGM and performed by Dream Theatre Association, the tour combines sports competition themes with interactive storytelling to convey sound financial and entertainment principles.

Over the past two years, the tour has reached over 40 primary and secondary schools, engaging nearly 8,000 students. This year, it will visit more than 20 schools, reaching over 3,500 students.

Tian Han, Executive Vice President of MGM, said, “MGM designs educational initiatives tailored to different age groups, integrating financial literacy and responsible gaming concepts into everyday life – from campuses to communities. These two events exemplify our continued efforts to promote responsible gaming through collaboration with academic institutions, community organizations and professional groups.”
