Sands China Ltd continued to deepen its responsible gaming efforts in 2025. Throughout the year, the company hosted more than 150 responsible gaming promotional activities, engaging over 150,000 participants, and delivered more than 30,000 hours of training for team members.

Dr Wilfred Wong, Executive Vice Chairman of Sands China, said, “Promoting responsible gaming is a vital part of Sands China’s corporate social responsibility and a cornerstone of sustainable industry development. In 2025, in addition to continuing diverse activities and professional training, we launched the Sands Responsible Gaming Academy, marking a new stage in education, research and talent cultivation.”

Established in November 2025, the Sands Responsible Gaming Academy is one of the specialized sub-academies under the Sands China Academy. It provides a range of training programs for team members and collaborates with institutions such as the University of Macau to jointly run the RG360 Macau Responsible Gaming Specialist Ambassador Course, nurturing professional talent. The academy also extends into the community to promote physical and mental wellness education. Meanwhile, the gaming areas at The Venetian Macao and The Londoner Macao once again passed the Macau government’s Responsible Gambling Indicators program, reflecting continued progress in team member training, guest support and risk identification.

At the community level, the company hosted the third annual Responsible Gaming Parent-Child Happy Carnival and a variety of activities to promote financial literacy and help-seeking awareness. In addition, Sands China partnered with social service organizations to deliver a campus outreach program across local higher education institutions, promoting responsible gaming knowledge and assistance channels. At the beginning of 2025, Sands China donated MOP 1 million to five local service organizations to support responsible gaming education and counselling services. Since 2006, the company has donated more than MOP 8.9 million, consistently supporting community services and the sustainable development of the industry.
