Taipa Village Cultural Association has transformed the historical village into an art museum

For the first time, Taipa Village Cultural Association has transformed the Taipa Village Art Space into a contemporary art museum and invited local artist Felix Vong to present his first solo exhibition in a bid to further boost the artistic and cultural atmosphere in the community.

Entitled “The First Contemporary Art Museum of Macau – A Solo Exhibition by Felix Vong”, masterpieces of iconic contemporary artists have been reinterpreted through the lens of appropriation. According to the young artist, art pieces on display are inspired by world-renowned and awe-inspiring international artists. “Imagine that there is a contemporary art museum where we can see every artist that we love, every single art piece which touched all of us for all this time and inspired us to make art, to think about art, to learn about art,” Felix said.
