Wynn hosts “Rua da Felicidade Fashion Week” on Rua da Felicidade

  • Wynn is organizing “Rua da Felicidade Fashion Week” from 29 April to 2 June.
  • The objective is to showcase the latest creations from Macau’s fashion brands, revitalize businesses in the community through the arts and culture, and offer a unique fashion and cultural tourism experience.

Since the launch of the “Rua da Felicidade Pedestrian Zone” last year, Wynn has remained active in promoting the revitalization of Macau’s historic districts. From now until 2 June, Wynn in collaboration with the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) and the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), will host the “Rua da Felicidade Fashion Week” with the objective of showcasing the latest creations from Macau’s fashion brands, revitalizing businesses in the community through the arts and culture, and offering a unique fashion and cultural tourism experience for Macau locals and visitors.

The “Rua da Felicidade Fashion Week” has seen 10 Macau fashion brands that exemplify local original charm selected through an open call for participation. The brands brought their Spring/Summer 2024 design collections featuring a total of 70 designer outfits to the fashion show held on 3 May at Rua da Felicidade.

To complement the fashion week, from 29 April to 2 June, a temporary exhibit of the designs from each brand is on display at Rua da Felicidade.

During the Labor Day Golden Week holidays, Wynn also hosted a series of exciting events at the Rua da Felicidade Pedestrian Zone, including an outdoor creative market, artistic performances and cultural tours to showcase the charm and vibrancy of Rua da Felicidade during the festival while promoting industry diversification and community economic development.

Wynn expresses its hope that by continuously introducing decorative elements, creative markets and specialty dining to Rua da Felicidade, it can enhance the vitality of the area and further enrich Macau’s cultural tourism content.
