Wynn’s leading chefs from its Macau properties, in collaboration with a renowned chef from Wynn Las Vegas, joined hands to present an “East Meets Best Collaboration Dinner” during the four-day Revelry Las Vegas 2024 food festival.
Held before the World’s 50 Best Restaurants award ceremony took place at Wynn Las Vegas, Revelry Las Vegas 2024 gathered top chefs, vintners and mixologists from around the world, offering a variety of culinary experiences from pop-up tastings and kitchen collaborations to multi-course dinners and a grand tasting feast unlike any other.
The “East Meets Best Collaboration Dinner” was hosted by Chef Ming Yu, who welcomed Chef André Chiang, Chef Tam Kwok Fung and Chef Henry Zhang to prepare the finest haute Chinese cooking for food enthusiasts.
In addition to showcasing the best of Asian cuisine, the dinner also featured award-winning Chinese wines of the inaugural Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards to promote China’s best offerings on the global stage.
Wynn Culinary Ambassador André Chiang was named one of the “15 Most Influential Chefs of the Next Decade” by Elite Traveler and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2018. Tam Kwok Fung Executive Chef of Chef Tam’s Seasons at Wynn Palace is revered around the world for his award-winning Cantonese cuisine and was Macau’s first recipient of the Chef of the Year honor in the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide in 2023.
Henry Zhang, Executive Chef of Golden Flower at Wynn Macau, is one of the hottest up and coming young chefs in the culinary world, while Ming Yu, Executive Chef of Wing Lei at Wynn Las Vegas, has led the restaurant to earn a Michelin star since 2010, making it the first Chinese restaurant in North America to receive this accolade.
