MGM sponsored the “Inclusion Conference Series on Autism” organized by Charity Association of Macau Business Readers, which took place in late September at the MGM Macau Grand Ballroom. The event also served as the launch of a series of inclusive arts workshops and the “Golf Masters”, both aimed at promoting social inclusion.

The conference focused on “Inclusive Education”, featuring guest speakers from Asia and the Greater Bay Area who shared experiences on supporting children with special needs and the challenges faced by parents of autistic children. Discussions included case studies and practical applications of inclusive education from different regions.

The event attracted 300 participants from 27 countries and regions, including community representatives, scholars, students, families, adaptive sports athletes, coaches, MGM management and MGM volunteer team members, fostering a global dialogue on inclusive education.

On the same day, MGM held an art workshop for nearly 100 individuals with intellectual disabilities from various regions. Participants, assisted by volunteers, engaged in creative art projects, designing car and motorcycle models and helmets. Outstanding works will be showcased at the Macau Grand Prix in November.

Since 2012, MGM has actively supported and sponsored the “Golf Masters”. This year’s event took place in late September, with three representatives from MGM serving as golf instructors, partnering with adaptive golfers from around the world to enhance their skills.

MGM stated that these activities aim to widely promote the message of inclusion and foster a more inclusive society. The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting various community initiatives to raise awareness and understanding of inclusion.
