Wynn supports exclusive Xinjiang wine promotion event in Macau

  • Wynn supported an exclusive Xinjiang wine promotion event in Macau.
  • The event highlights Wynn’s ongoing efforts to promote Chinese wines on the global stage.

Supported by Wynn, the “Taste of Xinjiang – Exclusive Xinjiang Wine Promotion Event” was held in November at the Wynn Palace Grand Ballroom. Organized by the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Forestry and Grassland Bureau and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Xinjiang Committee, and hosted by the Xinjiang Wine Association, the event featured wine and partnership exchanges, a Xinjiang wine promotion session, and a Xinjiang wine gala dinner.

The event showcased over 30 premium wines from 13 leading Xinjiang wineries. Attendees experienced the allure of Xinjiang wines through live promotions, expert-led discussions, and wine tasting sessions.

During the promotion, organizers introduced the history of grape cultivation and winemaking in Xinjiang alongside the region’s recent developments in the wine industry.

Xinjiang is a key production and grape-growing hub in China. The region boasts a stable winemaking grape cultivation area of 1,214 square kilometers and an annual wine production of approximately 120,000 tons, the highest in China.

Additionally, Xinjiang integrates culture and tourism by offering 15 boutique travel routes, allowing visitors to enjoy scenic beauty while exploring its unique wine culture. All four major Xinjiang wine regions have been recognized as world-class wine regions of distinction and have received numerous accolades at both domestic and international competitions.

Wynn continues to support the international promotion of Chinese wines. In addition to hosting initiatives such as the “Wynn Signature — Chinese Wine Competition” to showcase premium domestic wine products, Wynn provides an excellent platform for innovation and growth within China’s wine industry. These efforts contribute to enhancing the global influence of Chinese fine wines.
