To enhance collaboration and communication with local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Melco hosted a dining-themed exchange event, “To the Table”, at Studio City. The event attracted 28 local SMEs, providing them with a platform to showcase their products and services to Melco’s culinary team.
The event aimed to establish a direct communication channel, facilitating a deeper understanding of procurement needs, processes and policies while exploring potential cooperation opportunities.
Melco’s Supply Chain Director, Melina Quek, delivered the welcome address, followed by presentations from Culinary Operations Director Kenneth Law, who shared the high standards required for ingredients at Melco’s Michelin starred restaurants, and Food Safety – Risk & Compliance Manager Ellie Van, who outlined food safety standards and guidelines in the company. Additionally, Hannah Chung, Senior Manager of Sustainability, elaborated on Melco’s sustainability concept and practices.
The event featured product showcases, sampling testing and one-on-one meetings with selected SMEs. These sessions allowed both parties to engage in discussions about potential partnerships, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.
Melco emphasized its commitment to the “Large Businesses Leading Small Businesses” model, supporting the growth of Macau SMEs. The company reiterated its dedication to building effective communication platforms to ensure mutual understanding and readiness to meet future needs.
