Melco has demonstrated its support for the Macao SAR Government’s economic diversification strategy by co-organizing the “2025 Macao International Parade” in partnership with the Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM). Held under the theme “Love, Peace and Cultural Integration”, the event forms part of the city’s 26th anniversary celebrations of its return to the motherland.

The parade, which took place on 23 March, transformed central Macau into a vibrant cultural stage. Featuring a rich variety of local and international performance groups, the event brought color, music and dance to the streets, beginning at the iconic Ruins of St Paul’s and concluding at Sai Van Lake Square. Themed to promote Macau’s status as a “Culture City of East Asia”, the event embraced values of coexistence, innovation and harmony.

Ahead of the main celebration, a pre-parade performance titled “Parade of Wonders – A Motion Picture Show” was held at Studio City on 20 March. The showcase featured international acts including The Gipsy Marionettist (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Teatro Só and Porbatuka (Portugal), Bubble Wonderwalks (Italy) and Mirage (France). Performers captivated Studio City guests with dynamic and interactive performances, heightening public anticipation.

As part of Melco’s ongoing commitment to the arts and cultural programing, the event reinforced Macau’s positioning as a “City of Performing Arts”, offering a shared platform for cultural expression and international exchange while engaging both residents and tourists alike.
