SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) has achieved outstanding results in the 2025 Golden Phoenix Tree China Restaurant Guide. Five restaurants across Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau and Grand Lisboa Macau have retained their coveted star ratings, marking the second consecutive year in which SJM leads the city in the number of honored restaurants. The achievement reinforces SJM’s role as a key force shaping Macau’s contemporary dining landscape.
Among this year’s highlights, Palace Garden has been awarded the Guide’s highest accolade with a three-star rating, reaffirming its mastery of refined Taishi cuisine and its position as one of the region’s most compelling culinary destinations. Robuchon au Dôme, a long-standing icon of French fine dining in Asia, and Don Alfonso 1890, celebrated for bringing the elegance of southern Italian gastronomy to Macau, both maintained their two-star distinctions for their consistently exceptional craftsmanship.
The Guide also recognizes two one-star restaurants from SJM. The Eight continues to define contemporary Cantonese artistry through its creative expression, while Hua Ting impresses with its sophisticated interpretation of Shanghainese and Huaiyang classics. Together, these restaurants form a constellation of diverse culinary experiences that collectively reflect SJM’s commitment to elevating Macau’s gastronomic reputation.
Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, remarked, “To be consistently recognized by the rigorous standards of the Golden Phoenix Tree China Restaurant Guide is the ultimate testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to quality and excellence. This honor belongs not only to SJM but also stands as a demonstration of Macau’s strength as a ‘Creative City of Gastronomy’. We remain dedicated to showcasing Macau’s rich historical heritage through our culinary culture, telling the unique story of our city to visitors from the Chinese mainland and around the world.”
Organized by ifeng.com, the Golden Phoenix Tree China Restaurant Guide is regarded as one of China’s most influential dining references.
Looking forward, SJM will continue to broaden Macau’s dining landscape through a diverse spectrum of Chinese regional cuisines alongside global flavours. By enriching the city’s culinary profile, SJM seeks to deepen Macau’s appeal as a “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure” and enhance the cultural resonance of its dining experiences.
